What: Boats, Bites, Brews, & Bands! Join us for a private party on the shores of the Montlake Cut to kick off Windermere Cup weekend and to raise money for a good cause. Enjoy food trucks, beverages, twilight sprints, and live music by two of Seattle’s favorite dance bands; Queen Mother and Nite Wave.

When: Friday, May 2nd, from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM 

Where: NE Corner of Montlake Cut, near the UW Waterfront Activity Center (3655 Walla Walla Road, Seattle, WA 98195)

Who: Open to the public, must be 21 and over. Valid photo ID and tickets are required for entry. NO PETS allowed at the event.  

Tickets: $35 per person (pre-sale), $45 per person (day-of Party, if still available)

  • Ticket includes admission into the event. 
  • There are a limited number of tickets available, we strongly suggest purchasing early as this event sells out every year.
  • Purchase by May 2nd and save $10, tickets are $45 at the door (if still available, credit card only for day-of ticket sales).
  • No refunds after Monday, April 28th at 11:59 PM PST. 

Why: Party on the Cut benefits the Windermere Foundation and Seattle JazzED

Seattle JazzED is a music education nonprofit dedicated to making jazz and music education accessible to all young people, regardless of their background or financial situation. Through jazz education that liberates and inspires, Seattle JazzED increases access to the music room, celebrates student expression, and builds lasting connections rooted in community. 

JazzED believes that every student deserves the opportunity to learn, play, and grow through music. They do this by:

  • Offering sliding scale tuition so families can choose what they pay, no questions asked. 
  • Providing a free loaner instrument so students can borrow an instrument while in a program.
  • Hiring teaching artists that reflect their mission and the community they serve.
  •  Developing curriculum that honors Jazz as a Black American art form.

Each year, Seattle JazzED serves over thousands of students across their on-site programs, partner programs, and school assemblies.

Sip on a variety of beverages including beer from Anheuser Busch, NW wines, San Juan Seltzers, and specialty cocktails made with Natalie's Orchid Island Juice. We'll also be serving mixed drinks featuring Tito's Handmade Vodka, and whiskey. 

No cash, card only for purchasing drinks.

BANDS: We are excited to have Queen Mother and Nite Wave!

Queen Mother - Queen Mother is a high-energy Seattle-based rock band known for their electrifying live performances and dynamic sound. With a blend of raw vocals, powerful guitar riffs, and driving rhythms, they channel the spirit of classic rock while infusing it with a modern edge. 

Nite Wave - Known for their high energy show, Nite Wave performs 80's hits from Duran Duran, INXS, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, The Cure, New Order, Prince, Depeche Mode and more!

TERMS & CONDITIONS
All attendees must be 21 and over with a valid photo ID and ticket to enter Party on the Cut.

Agreement: By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions you understand that you are purchasing tickets to attend the 2025 Windermere Cup Party on the Cut managed by Windermere Events, and that all fees associated with the event are payable in full per Windermere Service's payment terms. You may buy tickets on behalf of others; however, you/your company will be liable for all associated fees. Note: these terms are subject to change.

Cancellations:
If you should need to cancel your ticket(s) for the 2025 Windermere Cup Shore Party at any time, you may do so. Processing fees are non-refundable. No refunds will be accepted after Monday, April 28th at 11:59 PM PST.

Travel Expenses (if applicable):
All expenses beyond the cost of tickets, including those related to travel (e.g., airline tickets, rental cars, hotel accommodations) are the responsibility of the registrant.

Photography and Recording:
There will be photographers & videographers on site throughout the event. By attending the event you agree that your image can be used for future promotional materials.
